I wanted a web plugin for TOSSOS from the moment I came up with the idea. People need to be able to understand the TOS and Privacy Policy of a site without having to leave and search for it on another site. Now, with the Chrome Plugin, you can see a site’s summaries with one click!
While still in an early stage, I’m hoping user feedback will make this will improve greatly the usefulness of TOSSOS overall.
Released a new feature tonight where users can select two documents and compare them. Just head to a document’s page and select a product from the area on the right.

Just added a new feature where users can add their email to a product change list. Whenever that product’s Terms or Privacy Policy changes, or there’s a significant update, the user will be emailed a summary.

TOSSOS was built and launched in 12 hours as a weekend project. To my surprise, TheNextWeb published it as Story of the Day for May 13th and a lot of people offered up support. I couldn’t be more thrilled.
As of now, it’s just me working on it, but I try and add a little every night. If you are interested in helping out, let me know!
